This is an excellent piece, and I was especially pleased to see that you emphasised that it will require a shift in thinking in our society from the ground up, in how we educate our children.

But I would also echo what another commenter has said; this would still by necessity remain a vocational calling. And I think with all vocational callings: nursing, teaching, social work, care work, etc – they ideally need to have five, or even three yearly sabbaticals to prevent burn out. That would be well supported by things like Universal Basic Income, too. Which we need and has been so successful elsewhere.
